Thanks Doug!
We’d like to give a special thanks to Doug Rice, who so generously keeps sharing his insights with the industry. We are especially happy, because thanks to the attention from Doug and others, we have had the great pleasure of being invited as speakers at a few recent events.
Perhaps oddly enough for some – InnSpire’s CEO, Martin Chevalley has used these opportunity to speak about… his family’s summer holidays 🙂
You may have seen Martin, in total “vacay mode”! Hawaii shirt on, barefoot, standing on a paddle board, showing pictures and video clips from the trips…
After a few moments however, the audience realizes that Martin is really – much like Doug in his blogs – weaving in real life and personal travel experiences, and how the recent advances in hospitality technologies – such as mobile check-in, mobile key, in-room controls, integrated casting, mobile check-out, and much more – has made holidays in general so much easier and care-free.
Martin goes on to seamlessly illustrate all this by “virtually enhancing” his presentation on stage with actual check-in sequences, casting and Netflix sessions, etc. – often to the audience’s great delight.
